Tequila time

 This year really taught me how much I don't like any alcohol at all but I discovered that I can indulge in TEQUILA. When in Mexico... Low cal, an upper, kinda hot to sip on and after one glass of it you get that little buzz. I am planning to go visit Tequila later this year and have a girl's trip there, I can not wait.

Floral x Cactus

 May is here. feels like spring has sprung since February here in Mexico City anyway but I still enjoy very much all the blossomed tropical flowers and green cactus everywhere. Also it gives me more material for my little notebooks project.

New notebooks!

Hiiiiiiii. My new notebooks are now available on my Etsy store.

I couldn't be more thrilled. I enjoyed designing these so so much. That feeling of spark of joy inside is the best feeling when you create something. I got inspired by all the beautiful flowers here in Mexico and who doesn't love a good notebook to write it all down and journal ? I know I do. And if you are not journaling ??? Modest is in, that's right.

I honestly cringe at the idea at wearing a mini skirt although it was my signature look for years.

Is it the mid thirties just around the corner ? Is it my ovaries trying to send ready to be wifed up signals ? 

Is it Sofia Richie ? Is it my new obsessions with the Hillsong Worship Jesus songs? Who knows but I LOVE to feel more modest and covered. I want all the long dresses, all the mid heels, all the flowery floral patterns... etc etc.

My Belle Era

Entering my new Belle era. More modest clothing, simplier looks and resting in my feminine energy by just being instead of doing and thinking all the time. 

Embracing my introverted more shy and quiet side and cultivating it. 

I always loved Belle since I was a little girl and for some reason I identify as her even more now. Every time I try to be am extrovert to fit in and be very social I end up drained and not surrounded by people that fill my energy up and inspire me.  

Any introvert out there know its the best feeling to meet friends that you can be yourself around, sit in silence and just do nothing. Feel no awkwardness and need to perform. Time to let that true soul frequency shine I guess so I can magnetize more of these people into my life.

Como la flor

New girl crush alert! Lately I have been sooo obsessed with Maria Segarra (@mariasegarr on Instagram) from Sevilla. Her style in my new daily inspo, I am also thinking of going back to my natural hair and looking more like myself - I am half Spanish after all - I think I am so saturated with the blonde and I don't feel like it matches my personality anymore. Hello cancer rising, love to change my looks!

Speaking of changing looks, the trend is back to modest. Long and covered is the new sexy - well from my observation and I just personally just don't feel comfortable showing too much skin but maybe that's just the mid thirties showing up lol.  I love that long dress look so much more now. Give me all the linen, maxi dress, flat sandals, long luscious hair and minimal makeup.

In the works

Just a few snapshots from this week. Had the pleasure to visit Guatemala - first time in Central America - it was a short trip but I made sure I had a steak and empanadas lol. I was amazed by all the volcanos all over.  Now that I am back in CDMX, I am working on my new notebooks and making new art so I can create new products with it. I am having so much fun with it - that's what life is supposed to be having fun following what makes you feel passionate and alive inside.
